Each Family Activity Kit includes athletic stuff and a themed game to bond and learn and get fit together!
How does it work?
- We make or buy cool equipment or toys for families to have active fun together.
- We create a game that includes activity and themed learning.
- We create a workout game.
- We put it all together.
- We offer family events and lead the families through an hour of active fun with all of the above.
Family Activity Kits
As we delivered our Active Discovery kits to the schools and Ys and other organizations, I started to hear the same concern...”boy I wish you had a Family Activity kit to give us”. These wonderful partner organizations were seeing the connection forming between their personnel and the children as they used the kits together. Bonds were forming and everyone was enjoying being active together!
Active Discovery is now working with several of our partner organizations to host Family Activity Night events. We run the event using the Family Activity Kits we have created, and then the families take the kit home. These kits include snack sized workouts with our activity equipment, as well as one of our signature games that has a discovery learning theme which, of course, includes activity.
We are so grateful to our partner organizations for letting us know what offerings would be a blessing to these wonderful children and families.
