Possibilities Program

Getting Real Life Experience

Our Possibilities Program connects local businesses to our organizations in field trip fashion. The youth get a chance to learn about industries and companies and jobs in their own back yard.

In 2022...

We began our Possibilities Program with a van full of Boys & Girls Club youth and their counselors meeting us at Javier’s Cantina. They had a tour of the kitchen at “go” time, met cooks and managers, had a fascinating talk from Javier Jr, and were treated to a special lunch.

In 2023...

Active Discovery hosted another Boys & Girls club group at Jedidiah’s Coffee to learn about coffee roasting, starting a business, and how to be a great worker.

Active Discovery loves these collaborations as a step towards imagining possibilities!
